Clinical consultation and psychoeducation is provided to individuals and organizations, as well as parents of minors undergoing assessment and treatment. With information comes greater ability to face your issues more realistically and efficiently. Individuals wanting to learn more about a disorder and treatment options to manage it find that consultation is a positive first step. Treatment with children always includes a parental guidance component, whereby the needs of the child are clearly outlined and the therapeutic mechanisms by which recovery is to be met are explained. Parents need to be cooperatively involved in their children's care, both during sessions in the form of updates and in helping children with their between-session work. We also meet with larger organizations (veterans, regional police organizations, schools and school boards, hospitals, out-patient clinics) to provide psychoeducation and join therapist rosters to help people locate qualified clinicians.
